Sophie has a degree in child development from SDSU and combines professional training with the warmth of a family home. She leads the program, plans the curriculum, and makes sure each child is known, loved, and supported every day.

Phoebe Hoyle

Toddler & Pre‑K Teacher

Phoebe (Sophie’s sister‑in‑law) brings gentle structure, creativity, and fun to our older children. She leads toddler and pre‑K activities, helping kids build confidence, independence, and school‑readiness.

Michael Batchelder

Cook & Bookkeeper

Michael keeps everyone fed, organized, and smiling. He helps with meals and behind‑the‑scenes paperwork, making our program feel even more like home.
